Sundown Cinema: King Kong (1933) (public event)

What's Independence Day without a giant ape climbing up to the top of the Empire State Building? On July 4th, Sundown Cinema presents the classic film from 1933, King Kong.

Movie Synopsis: Plot Summary on the Internet Movie Database

Show Time: All Sundown Cinema movies begin after sunset which will be approximately 8:00pm at the start of the series and get earlier as the days get shorter.

Where & When: Movies will be shown in the parking lot next to Orchard Valley Coffee near the corner of E. Campbell Ave. and Central Ave. Start times for each movie will depend on when the sun sets. Shows usually begin between 8 and 9pm, once it's dark enough to see the movie. Don’t forget to bring a chair and a blanket!

Sundown Cinema is presented by Casa de la Cultura Mexica, a local non-profit arts organization, and sponsored in part by the Downtown Campbell Business Association and Javier Sanchez. We rely heavily on donations from community members to keep this film series alive and cover costs of film royalties, equipment, etc. To donate funds, please visit Casa de la Cultura Mexica's website. Gracias!
