From a one-off shop in a San Francisco warehouse open only on the weekends to 11 fully stocked Bay Area locations. We’ve added a rentals program, developed full-blown ski shops and bike shops in house. We've grown up quite a bit since 1998 (just take a look at our timeline). Thanks to you, we're incredibly proud of the company we are today.

BEST BRANDS, BASEMENT PRICES

While all our community meetings, team banquets, and film screenings are taking place, the Sports Basement store bustles on. Our buying team sources the best product from top brands, and scores us some pretty sweet deals along the way. They know what to look for in every product they’re choosing because they use it themselves when they’re adventuring outdoors. Their experience and knowledge bring us carefully curated gear that we know our customers want and will enjoy using. They also strive to make sure we have the best prices so that we can outfit the whole community. Our rentals, demos, deals, and more help make the the outdoors more accessible for everyone. After all, they’re not just looking for the best gear, they’re looking for the best gear for our communities.
