If you remember Frontier Village, then you remember the Silicon Valley that was. You remember a place that hadn't yet made the words "Internet Time" a household word. You also remember a truly unique theme park whose closing was a sign that orchard by orchard, everything in the "Valley of Heart's Delight" was about to change forever.

Come relive the history and glory days of San Jose's Wild West theme park at the Campbell Library this Wednesday with local historian and author, Bob Johnson. There'll be photos and stories aplenty of this truly one-of-a-kind family run amusement park that operated in San Jose from 1961 to 1980. Bob will be around after the presentation to sign copies of his book, Frontier Village (Images of America).
