All About Whalefest Monterey: Presentation by Mary Alice Cerrito Fettis

On Monday, February 12, 7pm-8pm, the Native Daughters of the Golden West invites the community to enjoy a presentation by Mary Alice Cerrito Fettis entitled, "A Wale's Tale: All About Whalefest Monterey." $10 suggested donation. Please RSVP to Wendy Brickman at 831-633-4444.

In her presentation, Mary Alice Cerrito Fettis will discuss the importance of Whalefest Monterey (to be held April 13-14) that benefits many local and national marine organizations that educate, inspire, and empower the public to protect the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. She'll also discuss the annual Whalefest Monterey Symposium, which features world-renowned marine experts and historians.

Mary Alice Cerrito Fettis currently serves on the Fisherman’s Wharf Association Board of Directors and is Chair of the annual Whalefest Monterey event. Under Mary Alice's leadership, the California State Senate and Assembly awarded Whalefest Monterey with Certificates of Recognition and she won the prestigious Sea Star Award from the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary Foundation.
