Monterey Public Library presents a monthly series of travelogues entitled "Before They Vanish" given by James Michael Dorsey, an explorer and award-winning author. Join us in Monterey Public Library's Community Room on the 3rd Friday of the month, January through June, 5pm-6pm. These events are free but advance registration is required - please visit the Library's event page.

James has visited more than 100 isolated cultures in the world’s most remote areas; many that have no written language. Through his vivid digital photography and master storytelling, James will introduce you to people and places much of the world does not know exist. He will also be selling and signing his books about these travels.
