Venture Gallery presents plein air painter Murray Wagnon, our featured local artist for February. His exhibit, Souvenirs, features scenes from his travels in Spain and France.

Travel can inspire and delight, and provides the opportunity to see and reflect upon other cultures and settings. In this exhibit, Murray Wagnon shares his impressions from his travels in Spain and France - scenes of ancient buildings, boats in harbors, the bucolic countryside, and hilltop villages. In this case, Wagnon made small travel sketches on location which provided the basis for larger paintings done upon his return home.
