Current Comics is hosting a big Halloween ComicFest on Saturday, October 28, featuring candy, free comics, a vintage toy sale, and a book signing by local author Francesca Maria.

11am-7pm, we'll give out a great selection of free, Halloween-themed comics and Halloween candy while supplies last. Comics will include Amazing Spider-Man, Captain Marvel, Spidey, and more.

11am-5pm, we'll host a vintage toy sale with some very fun stuff.

1pm-4pm, local author Francesca Maria, who created The Black Cat Chronicles comics and a new book of horror stories, They Hide: Short Stories to Tell in the Dark, will speak with readers and sign her books at the shop.

And don't miss the Lighthouse District's annual Children's Trick-or-Treat along Lighthouse Avenue in Monterey, 2pm-5pm.
