This overlooked period of early 19th century history is the subject of a new book by author William Briggs, entitled That Pirate, Bouchard: Revolutions, Redemption and the Plunder of Old California. Hear the author speak at Casa Serrano at 2pm. Free for MMHA members, $10 for all others.
