Each year, in the days leading up to Halloween, an undead curse befalls upon Downtown Campbell. A horde of zombies descend into our downtown and perform the dance from the Thriller music video by the late Michael Jackson. For two hours, they stomp their way up and down Campbell Ave looking for brains, scares, and laughs at restaurants.

Being that it's 2023, it's only fitting that Undead Barbie was part of the horde. On zombie night, every Barbie is Weird Barbie.

This annual tradition is the hard work of a Thrill the World dance team organized by Karen Stevens, owner of Adira Dance and Costume in San Jose. In addition to their appearance in Downtown Campbell for the evening Zombie Crawl, they also appear at other events throughout the day and then appear again in Downtown Campbell the following day for our Creepy Crawly Halloween street party. As much fun as it is, it's a huge commitment and a lot of effort on the part of everyone involved so we're very grateful to be invaded by zombies every year... well by these zombies.
