It was quite a Saturday in Downtown Campbell this past week! On one end there was Oktoberfest. On the other end, it was Campbell Con, a "mini Con" in it's third year running at the Campbell Community Center. This year's Campbell Con featured Don Mcgregor, the Marvel Comics writer behind the original Black Panther comic book and a couple of the monster actors behind the original Ghostbusters movie in addition to other guests from the Comics, Sci-Fi, and Pop Culture world. There were lots of cosplayers there vying for the cash prizes that Campbell Con put up to encourage people to dress up. As you can see, it was quite a fun event with plenty of what you would go to a "Comic Con" for. At only $11 for an adult admission, it was the perfect 'Con for everyone who'd like to attend one, but didn't want to spend a lot of money and deal with massive crowds.
