Campbell held its 2018 Relay for Life fundraiser on July 14th and 15th at the Campbell Community Center. The Relay for Life is a weekend long event held every year in cities across America to raise funds for cancer research and patient support services. Last year, the money raised at Relay for Life events generated over $400 million dollars that went toward cancer research and nearly half a million nights of free lodging for cancer patients during treatment.

These photos are dedicated to the memory of JoEllen "Mamma Jo" Ramirez who recently passed away from Ovarian Cancer. JoEllen was the mother of Bombshell Boutique owner Brooke Ramirez and also one of the characters who helped usher Downtown Campbell back from obscurity by always being willing to volunteer for whatever efforts we were doing to create the culture of fun and community that you associate with Downtown Campbell today.
