The City of Monterey's Big Little Backyard Bar-B-Que and Entertainment Extravaganza was held immediately following the 4th of July Parade. This free event took over the the historic grounds of Colton Hall on Pacific Street with live music, carnival booths, bounce houses for children, and lots of food for sale by non-profit vendors. Featured bands were: Operation Rock, The Peelers, Reckless in Vegas, and The Killer Queens.
