Since 1996, the Proctor family has been improving Bay Area homes while, at the same time, building a base of more than 3,000 satisfied homeowners. In 2010, they added an exciting new division, Door Conversions, South Bay.

Door Conversions transforms existing solid-core front doors into stunning works of art using beveled glass or wrought-iron inserts.

Homeowners are able to choose from a selection of 16 beveled glass and 7 custom wrought-iron designs, as well as hardware and accessory options from Emtek.

The beveled glass inserts are artfully crafted using only solid metals, hand-cut glass, and polished bevels, and then insulated between two layers of safety glass.

The custom wrought-iron inserts are matched with dual-pane glass to provide two doors in one—the interior glass may be latched in winter or at night, but left open at other times to permit pleasant breezes to pass through.
