This event has already passed
Green Planet Yarn in Downtown Campbell is pleased to present Knit in the Round - Slouchy Beret. This class, held on two successive Sundays, July 17th and 24th, is for advanced beginner knitters.
Knitting in the round is an essential skill for knitting hats, socks, mitts, and various styles of seamless sweaters. In this class, you will knit a cute, adult-sized hat and learn to knit in the round using a circular needle and double-point needles. Other circular knitting techniques will be explained and demonstrated. Making hats is quick, fun, and practical. Not only do they keep your own head warm, hats are great for gifts and charity knitting (preemie caps, chemo caps) and are a wonderful way to try out new knitting skills: try cables, lace, or Fair Isle before launching into a larger project.
