vendors, premium wineries & microbreweries at the 16th Annual Lafayette Art & Wine Festival on Saturday, September 17 from 10am-7pm and Sunday, September 18, from 10am-6pm in downtown Lafayette. Free parking is available at the Lafayette BART station with free shuttles to/from BART. One of Contra Costa County’s top five outdoor festivals; FREE ADMISSION!
With more than 250 arts and crafts booths, the festival features a “Local Artist Gallery” offering a unique variety of gifts and display pieces created by local and regional artists. At the Premium Wine Pavilion you’ll find a selection of high-end wines offered by Wine Thieves wine purveyors. The festival attracts name bands playing a continuous mix of jazz, blues and rock on four stages; enjoy music featuring Dave Martin’s House Party, ML Crisis, The Sun Kings, Front Street, Zebop, Who Too, Chubby’s Allstars, Annie Sampson, Red Wing Blue Grass, Bob Athayde & Friends, The Spazmatics/80’s tribute band, Sound Advice, Leo Vigil, Pladdohg, Dream Posse, Ragged Glory, Rock Skool, Julie Glyde, Red House Gang and more.
This family-friendly event also features the “KidZone,” complete with party jumps, games, arts, crafts and entertainment provided by Lamorinda youth bands at the end of each day.
