Friday and Saturday, the great Cuban pianist Chuchito Vald�s will perform sole in the upstairs speakeasy at 7:00 PM. Downstairs the Pachamama Band will heat up at 9 PM followed by Chichito. A Landmark Location in 1918 it housed one of San Francisco's most important speakeasies and became one of the most famous restaurants in the city. Pe�a Pachamama was formerly Amelio's, a famous fine dining establishment where Joe DiMaggio and Marilyn Monroe had their wedding dinner. The Kennedys were frequent guests. In the upstairs dining room Clark Gable and Carole Lombard rendezvoused The Pe�a's menu features organic produce whenever possible and serves Oregon Country grass-fed beef, free of hormones and antibiotics, and use extra virgin olive, canola and raw-coconut oils only.
