Willow Glen Library and Poetry Center San Jose are pleased to present poet David Denny, who will be reading from his work. An open mic reading will follow. All are welcome to bring a poem of their own or by a favorite poet to share.

A resident of Cupertino, Denny teaches in the English Department at De Anza College and is nearing the end of a two-year term as Cupertino's Poet Laureate. He is also the recipient of an Artist Laureate award this year from the Arts Council of Silicon Valley. His poems and short stories have appeared in numerous literary magazines and journals and his chapbook, Plebeian on the Front Porch, was published by Finishing Line Press in 2012.
