Willow Glen Library and Poetry Center San Jose are pleased to present poet Peter Neil Carroll, who will be reading from his work. An open mic reading will follow. All are welcome to bring a poem of their own or by a favorite poet to share.

Peter Neil Carroll, poet and historian, is the author of two volumes of poetry: A Child Turns Back to Wave: Poetry of Lost Places, which won the Prize Americana from the Institute for the Study of American Popular Culture and Riverborne: A Mississippi Requiem. His poems have appeared recently in Sand Hill Review, PoetryBay, American Atheneum, Written Rivers: A Journal of Eco-Poetics, Long Island Quarterly, and New Mexico Poetry Review.
