Ren Geisick is a native of Los Gatos, California where she developed a love for music through church and school . She attended California State University, Long Beach and the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music where she graduated with a degree in Jazz Vocal Performance. In 2010, Ren was a recipient of an Ella Fitzgerald Scholarship and was awarded Outstanding Undergraduate Jazz Vocalist by Downbeat Magazine. In May of 2011, Ren set sail on the Carnival Inspiration for a six month contract as the “Showband Vocalist”. Now she is back in the bay area and enjoying all the bay area music scene has to offer.

Together our sets incorporate jazz standards along with some arrangements of artists such as Eva Cassidy and our own. The voicing of vocals, guitar and flugelhorn blend together to deliver fine music ranging from a Billie Holiday version of Summertime to the Nora Jones tune, Don’t Know Why.
