Poetry Center San Jose presents the Well-Red Poetry reading Series, featuring Barbara Siegel Carlson and J.P. Dancing Bear at Works / San Jose on Tuesday, March 11 at 7pm. Admission is a $2 suggested donation, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Barbara Siegel Carlson is the author Fire Road. Carlson grew up in Cranford, NJ and graduated from University of Rhode Island and Vermont College MFA Program. Widely published, she has given readings and led poetry and translation workshops in the US and Europe as well as participated in the Golden Boat International Poetry Translation workshops in Slovenia. She lives in Carver, MA.

J.P. Dancing Bear is the author of Love Is A Burning Building as well as five other full-length books of poems and six chapbooks. His poems have been published in numerous magazines and anthologies. He is the editor of The American Poetry Journal, the owner of Dream Horse Press, and the host of Out of Our Minds, a weekly radio show for KKUP featuring some of today’s best contemporary poets.
