“Favorite Stories, Favorite People”, an artistic bound book to visually celebrate your memories. Please join published children’s book writer and author, Kim Howard at A WORK OF HEART STUDIO.

We will use your own treasured images:
Important Photos,
Postcards
Simple drawings you create with Kim on our work-day together (everyone will be guided through a drawing or two),
Your maps, pressed flowers, lace, a tiny piece of fabric or embroidery, a birth certificate or death certificate or passport of a meaningful past time and place and people, ribbons, lock of hair, a bead or locket or special keepsake that is small, a letter, an envelope, a stamp, a chain, a watch face.

Please print color or B/W copies of your original “stuff”, reduced to no bigger than 3 inches by 5 inches. These need to be brought with you on the day of the workshop.

We will artistically place these magical bits and pieces onto our book pages. Kim and Andrea will supply extra goodies to dig through for your book, as well. We will bind them with a Coptic stitch of waxed thread that will gather your special memory into a beautiful book package forever.

Please bring a bag lunch and beverage!
