Willow Glen Library and Poetry Center San Jose are pleased to present Ellen Bass, who will read from her work. An open mic reading will follow. All are welcome to bring a poem of their own or by a favorite poet to share.

Ellen Bass has published several award-winning books of poetry including The Human Line and Mules of Love. Her poems have appeared in The New Yorker, American Poetry Review, The Kenyon Review, and many other journals. She co-edited the groundbreaking anthology of women's poetry, No More Masks! Her nonfiction includes the best-selling book, The Courage to Heal. She teaches in the MFA program at Pacific University.
