The Campbell Historical Museum and Ainsley House is excited to present History Happy Hour, a monthly lecture series at the Ainsley House, held February through October. On Friday, June 26, 5:30pm-7:30pm, we'll present a talk by Opera San Jose's General Director, Larry Hancock.

A founding member of the Opera San Jose staff, Larry Hancock will speak on the history of the company. Appointed as General Director after Irene Dalis's retirement in June 2014, he'll also take the audience through the choices a director must make in selecting composers, talent, costuming, and more. The evening will be an intimate and inside experience into the world of the critically acclaimed Opera San Jose.

Admission is $15 per person and includes snacks, two drink tickets, and entry into the lower level of the Ainsley House. Ages 21 and older only, please. Reservations are required as seating is limited to 36 people. To register, please visit the Museum’s webpage.
