Monterey Bay Aquarium invites you to join us for a Sustainable Foods Celebration on Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4, 10am-5pm. Do you want to live an ocean-friendly lifestyle? Learn how to "Make It Sustainable" one meal at a time during this weekend of fun cooking demonstrations, tastings and culinary activities for you and your family at Monterey Bay Aquarium.
On Saturday, discover how your everyday food choices can help the health of the oceans and be delicious, too! Watch cooking demonstrations by chefs John Ash, Sam Choy, William Dissen, Nathan Lyon, and Nico Romo, and learn easy recipes to cook at home. Stroll through the Whole Foods Marketplace and Kids Zone for delectable tastings from local growers and food artisans.
Don't miss the 11:30am Kelp Forest feeding featuring Alton Brown as the underwater narrator, and the 2pm Paul Walker Ocean Leadership Award Ceremony where we'll honor Anjali World, recording artist and ocean advocate.
