Raising siblings? Or preparing to? Come and learn ways you can help your kids learn fantastic lessons from growing up with brothers and sisters. We'll talk about replacing jealousy with support, helping each child feel uniquely loves and appreciated, helping children learn about conflict resolution skills and how to work with their siblings instead of against them.
About Justine
Justine Saffir is a parent, grandparent, teacher, parent educator and currently a co-op nursery school teacher/director. She has worked with all ages, from toddlers through to adults, including
being co-developer of several positive discipline education programs in local schools.
Underlying all her work is the belief that parenting ought to be fun and that love, laughter and discipline can make excellent partners. While the discipline part can be a challenging, it can also be an empowering, even truly enjoyable part of family and school life for both parents and kids.
This event is a part of our Free Saturday Speaker Series. This series brings educators and professionals from the community to our Parent Resource Center to provide free workshops on any and all things parenting.
