Interested in saving money tax free for your child's education?

Join us at Delphi Academy on Saturday, December 2 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. to learn about this California state savings and investment program. Ms. Vivan Qi Shen will give a short presentation about the California 529 Plan, also called Scholarshare.

Light refreshments will be offered. Following the presentation, Ms. Shen will be available to answer questions and will have brochures and information about the program.

Some highlights of the savings plan include:

• Lower investment rates (50% less) than other state 529 plans.
• Once an account is open for your child, any relative or friend can donate for their future education.
• Investments are handled by TIAA for the State of California.

The event is free and open to the public. Park in the Campbell Community Center parking lot on Campbell Avenue and walk down the path across the Heritage Theater to arrive at Delphi Academy, a private K-8 school. Enter through the front doors and you will be directed to the event. Delphi Academy offers various speaker events throughout the school year, many of which are open to the general public, in their Speaker Series which attempts to provide information on topics of interest to local parents and families.
