Tribe in the Sky presents an evening of live music at Bulldog British Pub featuring the very talented local musician Dan Frechette on Friday, April 26, 6pm-9pm.
Dan Frechette is an eclectic and exceptionally prolific multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter inspired by jazz, blues, and folk music from the 30s to the 70s, with a voice that holds a similar timbre to Don Henley and a refreshing and memorable songwriting style in the spirit of Neil Young, Gordon Lightfoot, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, Louis Armstrong, and Paul Simon.
Dan's signature guitar playing style is a beaming nod to the masters of the guitar: Pete Townshend, Norman Blake and Doc Watson. He's recorded 25 solo albums and many of his songs have been covered successfully by other artists, including Canada's The Duhks ("You Don`t See It"), Australia's The Ploughboys ("Who Will Take My Place?"), and Ireland's Dervish ("My Bride And I").
