Dia de los Muertos Ceremony and Celebration at the Dali Expo
This event has already passed
The Dali Expo is celebrating Dia de los Muertos in an all-day community event on Saturday, November 2, 12pm-11:30pm, honoring the lives of those who struggle to be with their families because of the U.S.'s current immigration policies.
Historically, Dia de los Muertos is a cultural event held in Central and South America to honor ancestors and passed loved ones. Following this tradition, on display will be a community-created altar joined with tasty food and drinks, live performances, guest speakers, theatrical shows, baile folklorico, games, and activities from different community organizations. We'll finish the night with local DJ Liquid Abyss plus a guest musician for the baile (dance).
Join The Dali Expo as we take a moment to honor, help, and support the 1,086 people that come to our country every day seeking salvation and better opportunities.
