“The Circle of Unity, Love and Equality” is the current art installation in the window display of Simply Smashing Boutique. It is a collaborative work between multiple professional artists as an expression of empathy and support for the challenges faced by African Americans on a daily basis.

The centerpiece of the display is an Amy B. Steinberg painting titled "A Mother's Love" which she painted to honor her friendship with Kisha Smiley, the Black woman in the painting whom she has been friends with since their childhood in Mississippi where Amy witnessed many an injustice directed at her friend and other African Americans.

Also contributing to the installation are mixed media artists, Laura McHugh and Amy M Steinberg who have also contributed works of art that they created to express solidarity with the fight against racism.

All three women will be appearing at Simply Smashing Boutique from 4-6pm on Saturday, September 19th to close their month long exhibit. Come down for a socially distanced meet and greet with the artists. Masks are mandatory.
