In addition to many Grammy Show performances, Tony’s time with Santana included a 2003 pre-game performance at Super Bowl XXXVII where they were joined onstage by Beyonce.

In 2015, Carlos Santana decided to change personnel in his band and set the wheels in motion for Tony to start on his 5th solo CD "Something Beautiful". His previous solo albums are “Different Moods" (1995), "The Message is Love" (1997), "Tony Lindsay" and "Memoirs" (2014).

In 1980, Tony Lindsay arrived in the San Francisco Bay Area from Kingston, New York, forming the band Spangalang. Spangalang has opened for Curtis Mayfield, Tower of Power, Gerald Albright, Jr. Walker, and the Average White Band.

Tony still performs with Spangalang, in addition to other bands he has helped form which includes The Soul Soldiers, Black Magic, and the Ray Charles Project.

Tony was one of four vocalists who traveled on the road tour version of the popular TV show "Dancing with the Stars" during their first three seasons, and is currently a regular performer for The Golden State Warriors (NBA), The Santa Cruz Warriors (G league NBA), The San Francisco 49ers, The San Francisco Giants, and The San Jose Sharks, singing “The National Anthem”.

In 2018, Tony had the distinct pleasure of performing with the legendary soul/funk band, Tower of Power at their 50th Anniversary Concert performances at the Fox Theatre in Oakland, CA.

Tony Lindsay has garnered many accolades with the 2018 release of his solo CD “Something Beautiful”. The first single, “Sweet Love” climbed rapidly to #1 on the Independent Soul charts, followed by the title track “Something Beautiful” (also reaching #1), and 2019 saw “Set Me Free” reached #6 on the charts. In 2020, “So in Love” which earned Tony a Soul Cafe Radio Indie Soul Award for “Male Artist of the year”, rested at #2 for 3 weeks (behind Ledisi’s Grammy Award-winning hit “I’ll
Do Anything For You”).

The 2020 release of Tony’s single “All Is One” also climbed to number #1 on the Indie Soul charts and he finished off 2020 with his holiday hit “Merry Christmas”.
