10th Annual Teal Run 5K & 10K
This event has already passed
The Teal Run is a day of hope, love and support for women and families affected by ovarian cancer. It is more than just a race, it’s a celebration of resilience and the power of community.
This annual event to raise money for ovarian cancer research and support includes a 5K run/walk, a 10K run, and a kids' dash with awards to the top 3 finishers of the 5K and 10K races.
Celebrating 10 Years in 2024
The Teal Foundation was started in 2015 by Laurie DeSimone and a group of select volunteers. Laurie wanted to promote a sense of community for ovarian cancer survivors, family and friends while also coming together to fundraise for research with the ultimate goal of finding a cure. Sadly Laurie passed away shortly after the inaugural run but her efforts continue through the work of The Teal Foundation.
The Teal Run has remained the only Bay Area running event dedicated to ovarian cancer awareness and support. Over 3,000 participants have united to raise over $500,000 for our event as well as ovarian cancer research and support services.
The Course
The 5K and 10K courses feature a beautiful loop around the Los Gatos Creek Trail, finishing just after the Campbell Bridge. It is paved and mostly flat with gentle inclines only. This is a great course for beginner and experienced runners alike!
Race Registration
Pre-registration race entry fees are $50 for adults and teens and $30 for children.
Donate to the Teal Run
