In this music workshop, we'll explore core improvisation techniques and exercises, chromatic approaches, non-diatonic chords and scales, odd rhythmic phrasing, mastering different meter claves, superimposing meters, and more. Wendi Kirby Music is a new, intimate concert venue and music school in Downtown Old Monterey. The space features beautiful acoustics, natural light, and a deck with a view of the ocean. Please note: this venue is located on the second floor. Because of the historic nature of the building, there is no elevator.
