Downtown Campbell would like to wish good luck, good hygiene, and good coffee to the creatives at ZURB as they embark on their annual Wired project. ZURB is a design company in Campbell located just a couple of blocks outside of Downtown Campbell. They help businesses, organizations, entrepreneurs, and individuals design better products and websites and each year, they use their powers to give back to the community in a 24 hour all-hands-on-deck sprint of design, marketing, and creativity in a project they call Wired.
Wired 2016 will benefit Life Services Alternatives, an organization that provides housing for developmentally disabled adults and helps them learn life skills to lead normal lives with as much independence as possible. LSA operates assisted cohabitation homes for people with development disabilities and the good souls at ZURB will go sleepless in Campbell starting at 8 AM on Thursday, August 25 to make sure that LSA will have everything they need to help them raise the funds and awareness that they need to continue their mission.
The entire 24 hour sprint is live blogged and captured on Twitter and Facebook to let you follow along in their progress and cheer them on. It really is fascinating to see to see so much design, marketing, and communication unfold in such a short adrenaline assisted time. They've asked their friends and followers to participate by posting words of encouragement using the hashtag #ZURBWired (especially during those hours when the neurotransmitters in your brain are telling you to get some Z's instead of getting a complete branding and marketing overhaul done before the sun comes up).
You can follow their progress starting at 8am on Thursday:
