Johnny Wicks Candle Studio has moved to 499 Calle Principal in Downtown Old Monterey! This candle-making studio and retail shop is located near Old Capitol Books on the second floor of the Galerie Monterey building. All candles are clean-burning, made from all natural soy wax with 100% cotton wicks and fragrance oils free of phthalates.

Johnny Wicks welcomes individuals and groups for in-store candle-making. The studio aims to provide a socially interactive experience that fosters togetherness and creativity through the captivating world of scents. Walk-ins are welcome, or you can make an appointment online.

Selecting scents, picking the perfect jar, designing a personalized label, and crafting your custom-scented candle will take around 30-45 minutes. Afterwards, you'll have an hour and a half to spare as your candle solidifies, leaving you with ample time to explore Downtown Old Monterey or grab a bite to eat.
