The primary goal of this event is to celebrate the Coptic Church’s traditions and educate the community about its culture. St. George Coptic Orthodox Church continues its Egyptian Festival activities and celebrates nearly 2000 years of Coptic tradition and culture. Church tours are regularly scheduled throughout the festival event times and provide a unique look into the ancient history of the Coptic Orthodox Church.
Grilled beef, chicken, and lamb will be prepared with customary Egyptian recipes and served at the King Tut food court. In addition, vegetarian dishes will also be available. Delicious Egyptian desserts and various drinks can be purchased at the Karnak Cafe. Stop by at Nefertiti’s Bazaar, and attendees can find festival souvenirs and Egyptian handicraft items. The Cleopatra Photo Studio creates a unique experience that allows visitors to take home a picture of themselves in pharaonic dress. The Tahrir Square Corner will be open for a taste of Cairo in Campbell.
