Well, this doesn't have much to do with Downtown Campbell, but I'm hoping that someone out there might be able to help or know someone who might be able to keep a little bit of local history from vanishing again. You may have heard of a Campbell fella named Shaughnessy McGeehee who's spent the past 20 years rebuilding a miniature version of Frontier Village.
His tribute to Frontier Village includes tiny versions of key buildings like the school house, general store, and saloon. They're going to be demolished at the end of January unless someone can rescue them and give them a home. I've attached some photos of some of the buldings. I think there are a few more and as of yesterday, none of them had a home yet.
With the exception of the schoolhouse, the footprint of each mini building is about the size of a large walk-in closet and the usable space inside that being a little bit bigger than your average bedroom closet.
