Learn the basics of soldering with lead free solder as you create a sweet jewelry pendant. We will cover safety, tape application, melting solder to copper tape with a soldering iron (not a torch) & attaching jumprings with solder. Each student kit includes (2) pieces of 1"x1.5" glass, one jumpring, images & ball chain.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT WE DO NOT PROVIDE SOLDERING IRONS FOR THIS CLASS. PLEASE BRING ONE WITH YOU, OR PURCHASE ONE HERE AT A 10% DISCOUNT. ALL IRONS NEED TO BE AT LEAST 60 WATTS OR HIGHER AND HAVE A TIP 1/4" OR LARGER. PLEASE NO IRONS OR TIPS INTENDED FOR ELECTRICAL HOBBIES - THESE SIMPLY AREN'T HOT ENOUGH FOR OUR USE.
