The Stop the Bleed workshops were free 90 minute trainings offered by Campbell CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) taught by Michael Grodin, a licensed EMT and officer of Campbell CERT. Attendees of the workshop were taught bleeding control basics that teach them how to save a life if they ever come upon a life threatening bleeding emergency.
The Stop the Bleed workshops were just one of a series of free or low cost disaster and emergency preparedness training opportunities offered by Campbell CERT and other CERT chapters in the Bay Area. For a complete listing of all upcoming training opportunities, please see the Campbell CERT Calendar.
