Monterey's own Festa Italia, taking place in Custom House Plaza September 9-11, is seeking volunteers to assist at the food booths during the event. Festa Italia is open Friday, 3pm-9pm; Saturday, 10am-9pm; and Sunday, 10am-6pm. This annual event, run by the non-profit Festa Italia Santa Rosalia Foundation, features Italian food and drink as well as live music, a bocce ball tournament, raffles, and more.
