Bamboo Reef Dive Shop presents a NAUI Freediver Spearfishing and Collecting Course beginning Thursday, May 18. The class consists of a Zoom meeting on Thursday, pool training on Saturday, and ocean diving on Sunday.

This course provides certified freedivers with the skills and knowledge necessary to spearfish, take game, and collect specimens while minimizing the diving risks of these activities. Learn more and register on our website.

Course material includes freediving techniques, hazards and cautions, safety concerns, equipment, conservation, fishing laws and regulations, sportsmanship, utilizing the catch, selecting specimens, shell collecting, and diving locations.
