Inspired by the beautiful dried flowers that adorn the walls of Florra, join us for this intimate workshop to paint some free flowing abstract floral bouquets just in time to welcome spring. We'll go over basic color palette theories, brush usage, composition basics and learn a few abstract botanical elements by learning to turn on our observation switch. When we feel ready we'll put what we've learned together and explore painting a few mini spring bouquets.

Meet The Artist:

Meg Perotti is a fine artist based in Northern CA. Her love of nature and the abundant beauty around us all inspires her delicate illustrations and elegant botanical paintings. She marvels at the mundane, the beauty between the cracks, the wonders of nature- and encourages others to do the same. Take a walk with her and you’ll likely hear her proclaiming her awe for the clouds or be inspired to stop and smell the roses… or to paint them.

She also has a life behind the camera and has over 20 years of experience photographing everything from fashion, families to Al Gore and destination weddings. These days are mostly spent homeschooling her three young children and doing her best to instill a love of learning and creation into their little minds. She has a passion for knowledge and believes its never too late to learn something new.
