In 1933, the United States Government established a Naval Air Station in what is now part of Sunnyvale and Mountain View. The site was later renamed NAS Moffett Field. The original mission of the Naval Air Station was to serve as a station for the lighter-than-air-dirigible, the U.S.S. Macon. But, there is much more to the story.

Come learn about the place, the people, and the operations from a member of the Moffett Field Historical Society.

This event occurs inside the Carriage House, next to the historic Ainsley House. Doors will open at 5:30 pm. Light appetizers and beverages will be served. The presentation will begin at 6 pm. The event ends at 7:30 pm
