Wendi Kirby Music presents a Songcrafting Class, a 10-week course taught by George Woods, a professor of songwriting at the acclaimed Berklee College of Music. The class will meet on Mondays, 6pm-8pm, beginning April 28. Register here.

About the Class

The class is open to ages 15 and up. Students will learn multiple tools and approaches to generate musical and lyrical ideas and how to edit those ideas into complete, original songs. The curriculum is accessible from a beginner to intermediate level of musicianship but has something to offer even the most experienced musicians. Fee is $700. Payment plan is available.

Wendi Kirby Music is an intimate music school and concert venue in Downtown Old Monterey. The space features beautiful acoustics, natural light, and a deck with a view of the ocean. Please note: this venue is located on the second floor. Because of the historic nature of the building, there is no elevator.
