Bay Area Showcase Chorus has been entertaining the Bay Area with a cappella music, barbershop harmony style, since 1956. The chorus, which is a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, has a reputation for musical excellence. In April 2010, the chorus won its eleventh first place medal in the regional barbershop competition, held in Reno, Nevada.

We produce theater shows annually, and sing (in smaller groups) at community events throughout the Bay Area. Our singing valentines and singing holiday card deliveries are a source of delight to their recipients. And from time to time the chorus hosts workshops to introduce more women to the joys of singing 4-part harmony.

The Bay Area Showcase Chorus is available for special events. You can choose to have the whole chorus or some subset, including our entertaining quartets. With a wide range of songs to choose from, any event can be memorable. Our costume inventory allows for informal to formal performance settings.
