Lilify in New Monterey is delighted to present the incredible textile work of local artist Amanda Salm on Saturday, May 4, 10am-6pm. Salm will present her imaginative woven sculptures stitched strand by strand with naturally dyed horsehair. You literally will not believe her work when you see it!

Often inspired by the marine environment of our area, Salm's material of choice is horsetail dyed from plant and insect sources, many of which she has cultivated herself, yielding a range of complementary colors on this versatile, lustrous fiber.
