Habla: she speaks; he speaks; you speak!

Are you interested in learning Spanish in a FUN & INTERACTIVE environment? We are offering a one week class in a small group setting that begins soon! Most likely, you have never learned a language like this before. With Habla Language Services, our focus is to get you speaking Spanish in the least amount of time. We focus on a picture-based immersion approach rather than the translation method, which has proven to be ineffective in most cases. We get you speaking Spanish on the very first day!

Cost: $499 per person - includes all materials

Please note: Students are expected to know the 7 Basic Competencies: numbers, days of the week, months of the year, colors, greetings & niceties, pronouns, question words. If you do not know the basics, contact us. We have a Spanish Basics Workshop scheduled for June 22.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:

Ms. Covello has a Master's degree in International Policy and Hispanic Studies with an emphasis on translation and interpretation from the Monterey Institute of International Studies. Her undergraduate degree includes English Literature with a double major in Language and Cultural Studies from the University of California.

Her studies included a semester at the Escuela Americana de Traduccion e Interpretacion in Santiago, Chile and a quarter at the UNAM in Mexico City. She is also an alumna of the United States Peace Corps, Costa Rica. She has personally visited or lived in the four countries of our focus. She will be sharing her cultural knowledge and love of Latin America while teaching you.

Ms. Covello has an Adult Education California Teaching Credential and over twenty years' experience teaching English, Spanish, and Business Communication. She is also a member of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages.
