The Willow Glen Neighborhood Association is kicking of 2012 with a discussion on one of the most important issues in any neighborhood – safety. The organization is pleased to welcome San Jose’s Assistant Police Chief, Rikki Goede, to the January meeting to discuss how to work together with law enforcement officials to make the neighborhood safer for all residents.

Join us and learn about safety issues affecting Willow Glen, including the alarm response policy, graffiti, gang issues, car break-ins, Eyes on the Street, speed limits, homelessness, pan handling, and information technology solutions.

Rikki Goede has served the San Jose Police Department for 15 years and has worked her way up through the ranks. Her career reflects a high standard of commitment and dedication. Prior to her service in San Jose, she also has 10 years of experience as an officer and sergeant with the San Diego Police Department. Her assignments have included Patrol, Narcotics, Community Services, Day Detectives, Internal Affairs, Gang Investigations, and Homicide.
