  • Help Cooper-Molera Adobe Replace the Roof

    Let's raise the roof! The National Trust for Historic Preservation is conducting a significant restoration project at Cooper-Molera Adobe, and it's now doing additional fundraising to replace the Cooper Adobe and Diaz Adobe roofs. We, the public, can help!

  • Restoration Project at Cooper-Molera Adobe 2025

    Monterey, CA

    The National Trust for Historic Preservation has begun a significant restoration project at Cooper-Molera Adobe at 506 Munras Avenue. Work is focused on preserving the site's historic structures and ensuring their longevity.

    The museum, gardens, Alta Bakery & Cafe, and Cella Restaurant will remain open throughout the process. The second floor of the museum will be closed to protect and store the Cooper-Molera Adobe collection and archival materials. The project is expected to end by June 30. Learn more.

    Join Tai Chi for Beginners on Mondays, 3/3 - 4/7 at 10am with Liana Olson, Senior Trainer with the Tai Chi for Health Institute. Held at Cooper Molera Adobe, either indoors or outdoors, weather permitting. Join for one session or the entire series! Drop-in fee is $10. Details here.

    Join Om Studios for a rejuvenating 45-minute outdoor yoga flow class taught by Lindsay Wetterau amidst the serene beauty of the Cooper-Molera Gardens, right behind Alta Bakery on Wednesdays at 12pm (weather permitting). Class is suitable for all levels. Learn more here - registration required.

    Join Tai Chi for Beginners on Monday, March 3 at 10am with Liana Olson, Senior Trainer with the Tai Chi for Health Institute. Held at Cooper Molera Adobe, either outdoors at garden level or indoors in the Skylight Room (weather permitting).

    Please wear comfortable, well-fitting shoes and dress in layers. Plan to arrive 5-10 minutes early to sign in. Drop in fee is $10; 6-class pass is $48. Pay instructor directly.
