Aisha Piracha-Zakariya from the League of Women Voters of California will be discussing the history of the League in celebration of the 100th Anniversary of women’s right to vote and detail current activities of the League such as the 2020 Census.
Representatives from the League of Women Voters of Southwest Santa Clara Valley will provide nonpartisan, concise explanations of the November 2018 ballot measures.
The League of Women Voters of Southwest Santa Clara will hold a forum for the candidates running for the 18th Congressional District. Candidates participating in the forum are Anna Eshoo and Christine Russell. This forum will give voters the opportunity to meet the candidates as well as participate in a moderated Q&A conducted by the League.
