Old Capitol Books hosts a reading and book signing by local philosopher Robert Kuhry on Sunday, January 21 at 3pm. Kuhry's new book is entitled Awake in the Land of Dreams .

A lyrical work of narrative non-fiction, Awake in the Land of Dreams explores life in Monterey during the months after the 9/11 attacks of 2001, examining how every city is a microcosm for the whole universe.
